The main kitchen area, like many homes, forms the heart of the dwelling. Within this design in our Surrey showroom, it was Tom's aim to create a space that was symmetrically balanced, spacious and sociable. Adding grandeur and elegance with a large overhead chimney canopy and reflective Marble flanked walls. Continuing this theme with full hight wall units and deep sets of cabinetry on the lower level.
The island in the centre of the space, housing crockery draws and hidden utensil storage is open footed enabling light to flow underneath and giving the piece a more flexible furniture feel. In comparison to its heavy fixed furniture counterparts, the slatted base and simple drawer design accomplishes softness in an otherwise grounded and weighty design. The colour pallet sets the feeling of gratification using an infusion of deep chocolate tones against light and creamy shades telling a luxurious tale, grey swalthes of marble on the worktops and anquied brass handles again add a refined and elevated appearance.
