Nestled in a perfect English country village, this most picturesque old rectory boasts incredible history and original details. The owners meticulously restored the house, preserving its charm. The kitchen, situated at the rear, connects seamlessly to the dining area and the rambling front garden. Our client, with her architectural background, wanted a simple kitchen that wouldn’t detract from the building’s origins. It should also lead visitors effortlessly to the carefully curated garden, evoking a sense of nostalgia. We paired a freestanding dining table-style island with timber tops alongside perimeter cabinetry with slate worktops. This thoughtful combination created a clean functional space that connected the family to their home.
