About No. 2

Set within the stunning Surrey Hills countryside, this 19th-century country mansion underwent a total interior transformation while preserving its original integrity, featuring large slab limestone flooring, a curved guest bathroom, and high ceilings that ensure a beautiful flow between rooms. Architect Ian Adam-Smith created an elegant and luxurious haven characterized by rich colour concepts like burgundy doors and green walls, with a library nestled between the dining and family rooms. The kitchen was designed to reflect the home's scale while remaining soft and family-oriented, featuring an essentially simple layout that accentuates bold materials and a modern take on colour, complete with a large freestanding dresser for storage, leaving worktops and shelving free for personal display.
